Y'know, when I saw on Yahoo! on Monday: Steven Irwin killed, I thought it was like a hoax coz well, how can an Aussie dude who lives in khaki safari outfits and wrestles crocodiles ever get killed?! Some people, you know, just are not the dying type. And then I went to read the article and I was like all what the hell I think they're telling the truth. Today it was all over the papers how he got stung by the barb of a stingray in the chest (no hwee, the stingray did not punch him) and he was filming the Ocean's Deadliest or some shit documentary like that.. because that doesn't matter anymore, the world has just lost one of God's greatest gifts to the animal world.

I still think it's a hoax even though I know it's not and for some unexplainable reason I just feel so sad though I don't even know the guy. But I've watched enough of his documentaries to know how he likes to plonk himself onto 4 metre long crocs and yell, Crikey, what a beauty! I mean, you have to really have a thing for squat scaly monstrous toothy reptiles to do that and well, anyone who loves animals as much as that is a great person. What a complete shame that he had the misfortune to bump into a stingray suffering from intense PMS. I think the whole of Australia is mourning and I'm glad that Lleyton Hewitt beat Noodleboy Gasquet today at the US Open so that he gives Australia and Steve Irwin something to be proud of. Okay that doesn't really make much sense buttttt...
It's just so sad and such a waste, when you think of all he's done for animals, and his poor wife and kids. I don't think we'll ever find another person like Steve Irwin. Ever.
A lot of people are putting turtles on their msn nicknames "in memory of Steve irwin" which I find kinda odd coz he didn't exactly try to pin down Galapagos tortoises and he's the Crocodile Hunter not Turtle Hunter... but I suppose that's all we can do coz there aren't any crocodile emoticons.

Can anyone feel both excited and stressed at the same time?
Firstly, because our SS prelim exam is the day after tomorrow... well naturally I feel stressed. I'm considering dropping growth of nations because it's so long and it's so stupid. But then again I already made notes for Health and Education and Human Resource so maybe.. I'll just study those.. tomorrow? Yes. I think I'll have time to cover all I wanna cover before Monday. Because today, I'll finish my merger notes and... tomorrow... I will

1) Revise merger
2) Revise yucky Health and Education
3) Revise People: a country's most important resource
4) Read through other chapters
5) and if I have time, revise my other chapters I have prepared for.

I hope I can finish all that tomorrow! I'll be so glad when it's over, then I can concentrate on the Science-y and Maths-y stuff.
And and and, just now, mumsie called up the number on the Shanghai masters website and booked tickets for the masters... on the 17th of November. One day after O levels. Which means that, we have to leave at night on the 16th. What.. fun... But anyway we got real good seats, we are in the third row!!! Whoopee! We'll be this close to whoever is playing. And maybe not too far away from Roger Federer's fiance. Hahaha okay whatever but I suppose the only drawback is that it's all very rush rush soooooo argh I dunno when to pack but I think I'll pack after my Chem paper. I like to rush.

So anyway AGAIN I haven't updated for a bit. Just have no time lah and nothing to talk about, I mean, what's so interesting about studying?? Nothing! Imagine if I went like this.
Today, I woke up and went to school. Studied during recess. Studied during free period. Came home. Had lunch. Studied somemore. Drank a cup of coffee. Studied. Walked dog. Dinner. Study study study. Went to sleep. Couldn't sleep coz of coffee.

Boring eh? Anyway all that is mostly untrue, except the parts about school, the coffee, walking the dog, meals and not being able to sleep. Stupid sec 3/2/1 students, so irritating to watch them go to PP after school/ go for CCAs/ go shopping every weekend/ watch movies while we are studying every day!! Argh! I went shopping last week for the first time in like 2 months. Sucks. Anyway to my surprise I find that I've kinda finished studying SS but that's only because I'm dropping nearly the whole of Growth of nations which amounts to 5 chapters. I'm only studying Health and education but at least I still have my notes for most of the rest. (couldn't be bothered to make notes for sustainable development and good governance, what could be more boring?) And I've finished the rest of the interesting shit like Sri Lanka, N Ireland, N and S Korea, D & D and so on. I only hope I can get my first A for SS. Yeah I know lah I'm very stupid, I've never gotten an A for SS before (for major exams at least). But at least I get an A for Lit most of the time, numbskulls.

On to lighter news... I think I'm going to watch the Shanghai Masters at the end of the year!! :D :D :D OMG HAPPY HAPPY HAPPYYYY hahahaha it's like on the 18th of november (the semis) and my last paper for o's is on the 16th which means I can celebrate the end of exams in Shanghai!! We decided to watch the semis coz there are two matches going on instead of one like in the finals and since there'll be 4 guys playing, the chances of Roger Federer playing is much higher. Unless he pulls out but i hope he doesn't!!! I think Lisze will be coming with us. Anyway I'm making the parents book tickets this weekend. None of that last-minute shit that we always go through, imagine going to Bangkok on Thursday and booking tickets on Tuesday. Pah. I totally can't wait to go!! =D =D I am so motivated to study for O's and prelims now. Heh heh heh.
And today we saw our nike tennis jackets which we had to wait 4 years for but it's really really nice! Whoever chose it (think it was Charmaine.) has good taste, haha. I am so going to bring it to the Shanghai Masters and hope on the off chance that some famous tennis player will notice the "TKGS TENNIS" at the back and come talk to me.
... Yeah right. But whatever, it's very nice and I can't wait to get it!
I am in such a dilemma. 1) Drink coffee and stay awake till late at night instead of falling asleep at the table by 10 pm, BUT not being able to sleep when I wanna get to sleep or 2) Don't drink coffee and fall asleep at the table by 10, then give up studying and go to bed straightaway.

I think I'll go for 1). At this point of time, prelims are more important than sleep. I can catch up on lost sleep during Mr Yap's physics lessons anyway.

Ok for all of you who are feeling guilty about not studying, have no fear, Rachel is here! I totally didn't study today, just had tuition and fell asleep for an hour plus before that. I seriously don't believe I can do well for prelims. I hope they moderate like hell even though they say they won't (but they still do la.).

Anyway, I JUST only watched High School Musical. Okay, I know all of y'all are probably rolling your eyes and going, wha so slowwwwww the whole high school musical craze is so ovaahhhh BUT! I bought my purple crumpler bag way before the craze even started okay? And now about 20 people in my school have it so I shan't use it except to go overseas. If you happen to have the same crumpler bag and are going to Maldives/ Cameron Highlands/ Tibet (just a few places my parents are thinking of going after my O's)... please cancel your trip. Yeah and another good reason for only watching High School Musical now is so that everyone will be over Zac Efron coz they'd have moved on to Singapore Idol to fantasize over Paul Twohill or whoever shit. Omg Zac Efron is so cute!! Hee hee hee! I hope, like I've told Hwee and LiSze, that my future husband will look like that, be rich, and love animals so he can fully support with all his heart (and money) in my fighting for animal rights or whatever I'll be doing lah. I think that this is possible coz opposites attract, and if I'm ugly, my husband will be damn hot.

I'm just so freaking tired, and stressed, wait maybe I'm not stressed. Because even though, there's only a month left to prelims, I didn't get into VJ through DSA, I haven't touched physics, i'm only a quarter through SS, I have a 4 inch stack of exam papers to complete... I am here, sitting in front of the computer and nodding off because I don't feel like cramming the details about how the Tamil Tigers went around killing people into my head. So I shall continue SS tomorrow.

No dragging and watching Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends after Spongebob and Hey Arnold! tomorrow. After lunch I'm hitting the books straightaway. My eyes are about to shut, honest I'm sooo sleeeeeepyyyyy arghhhhh. And I hardly did anything today cause I had tuition. Poor, tired me.
Oh and our class' pet lobster just shed its skin, so we proved to Mrs Loy that an aquatic invertebrae can indeed survive even after spending weeks in front of countless teachers. Maybe it knows how to integrate and differentiate! Ha! Ha! Ha! Someone pass that lobster a pen and watch it do mathematical wonders!

Hmm I haven't updated in a bit. So these few days when i come back from school I try to do a bit of studying and if I get distracted in the afternoon I stay up to do a bit more. Last week was Bio Week and this week is supposed to be SS Week but it's still Bio Week!! What the hell?? I am so slow. Or maybe coz last week I was slow, I'm trying to pick the pace up a bit now buttttt arrgh I can't!!! This sucks. 5 weeks to prelims and I've only studied Bio, done a fraction of my amaths papers, done NONE of my emaths, neglected physics, neglected SS (except for one chapter), and neglected Lit. I am SO FREAKING DEAD!!! SEND ME TO ITE ALREADY!! :( The only subject I'm more confident about is Chem and even English, coz I screwed up oral and my compre sucks, only my compo is better, I'm not so sure I'll secure an A1. Are we allowed to use Chinese O's for prelims? I hope so. I got an A1 for that, everyone!!! :D

I predict that for prelims, my L1r5 will be 28. NOOOOOOOOOoooOooOoOoOooOoOOOOoo!!!
Ok I absolutely promise that I'll study and study and study, even till late at night cos that's the only way I'll finish my syllabus. It doesn't matter if I fall asleep in school because I can sleep during Physics, we don't learn anything in it anyway.

Haven't updated for a few days. So the past week has been pretty exciting. Firstly, we got our dog. Her name is Truffles and she's a long haired dachshund. For those of y'all who don't know what that is, she is a sausage dog. For those of y'all who don't understand english, she is a la4 chang2 gou3. For those of y'all ignorant dweebs who think sausage dogs are ugly hairless dogs that really look like sausages... you have it all wrong and chances are, you probably are uglier and more hairless than Truffles who is the most adorable little puppy ever. She has already made a million friends in Waterside because everyone who sees her goes, SO CUTE!!! And rushes to make friends. So there.

And in other news. Amelie Mauresmo, the She Man with the so very ladylike name that hardly suits her, has won her first ever Wimbledon title, and she is also the first Frenchwoman since Susan Lenglen to win since 1927. 79 freaking years! Sucks for the Frenchies, no?? But she did play well... And and and for those who don't follow the news in the papers... Amelie Mauresmo is a HOMO!! Eeeeek! Ok I know it's no surprise. But in spite of that... she deserved the win, she played well and I think she's pretty nice. At least she isn't stuck up or anything.

But the BEST THING YET. Is that ROGER FEDERER BEAT RAFA NADAL!!! Woohoo!!! 6-0, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (2-7), 6-3. Last night, me, li sze and Chan were conferencing throughout the match and it was so so so fun. Hahaha. Li Sze kept sounding like she was gonna cry cos she was so nervous, Gourie kept singing weird songs and laughing for no reason, and I was waving my Swiss flag. Haha and instead of Roger vs Rafa it was Rogi vs Rafita cos thats what his website and Santoro/Santana?? called them, respectively. So anyway, Rogi annihilated Rafita in the first set 6-0. He was trailing all the way in the second and caught up. He was 6-5 up, but was unable to break Rafa's serve and ended it in a tiebreak, 7-5. The third set was close too, another tiebreak which Roger lost 2-7. Then came the fourth set where Rogi really gave it his all, he was 5-1 up but was broken and was unable to break back. The score was 5-3 when Roger served for the match yet again. After a rally and two superb serves that gave him championship point at 40-0, Nadal hit a backhand wide and Rogi WON!!!! The three of us couldn't stop screaming hahaha I bet everyone thought we were watching football or something. Only it was too early for football. So, this is the fourth consecutive time Roger has won the Wimbledon! The king of grass has triumphed again, this time over the guy who's beaten him 6 times outta 7! I'm going to write him a letter to congratulate him.. I hope I get around to it. Gah. Silly prelims. Anyway I think I should go sleep soon. After I create my account at rogerfederer.com. But at least they lasted till the penalty shootout. I am getting more and more annoyed with Nadal. He keeps winning everything. No one's actually beaten him for ages, except Hewitt but that was cos he retired halfway. Stupid unibrowed big ass big bicep-ed Rafa!! Argh! But I liked how they thanked each other at the end of the match. Agassi looked like he was crying! I hope he does well for the US Open.

Now I really want Federer to win Wimbledon. Can Nadal beat Federer on grass? I hope not. What a nightmare that'd be. "Nadal beats Federer for the 7th time to win his first ever Wimbledon title, robbing Federer of his 4th consecutive win!"

Yet again, Rafa Nadal has beaten his opponent in Wimbledon. This guy, Kendrick, was up 2 sets to 1 and was SO close to winning but I think he got tired and well... Rafa Triumphed Again. Which is getting slightly annoying because as much as I think he's cute, plays great tennis, hardly ever gets tired (when he does he chokes on a banana for a time out), has cool shoes, clothes, a super toned body, and, like I have said a million times before, a huge butt...

I WANT ROGER FEDERER TO WIN WIMBLEDON.

But actually looking at the way Nadal is playing now... he might just get beaten by Agassi or whoever he might meet after that. He obviously isn't as capable of dominating his opponent on grass as well as he does on clay soooo I think players like Lleyton Hewitt/Nalbandian might find it easier to beat him. And if they do.... and Roger beats them... then Roger will win!! =D =D =D

That Vijay Amritraj is so annoying. He keeps going on and on about how fantastic Sania Mirza is. Grrr. And Hingis is playing Schnyder next! I hope Hingis wins... and ummm let's see. I watched quite a few of the matches today shown on replay. Can't really remember all of them. Well Mauresmo the She-man beat her opponent 0 and 0 oh yeah and today, Sharapova beat Ashley Harkleroad or whatever it is. Sharapova's dress is pretty but I just realised today that the flower on the back is actually an air vent, which is pretty gross if you look at it properly.

Wimbledon is so under-watched. I know there's no such word but I want to use it so like it or lump it, ape face. Seriously. Cos the World Cup is on now, everyone's all either betting on whether Germany or Argentina will win this Friday (i hope it's Argentina, Germany let me down in the final of '02) or swooning over Fernando Torres/ Cristiano Ronaldo/ Kaka. Hello? There are many tennis players to swoon over too. Like.. um.. ummm... um. Well I suppose Nadal is moderately swoon-worthy (Li sze would prob go, no way, he is very very very swoon worthy don't argue you lesser mortals). Andy Roddick is okay looking but his tummy is big. Today the most interesting thing that happened in school was that Mr Peh gave us the affirmation slips he typed out, after compiling all the shit us classmates said about each other for everyone. I think it took him ages (he said he went crazy cos of the smilies) so thanks Mr Peh!!!!! :)
It was really fun cos everyone was exchanging their papers and reading what people said about them. Haha oh yeah and cos KZ wrote for me :Chao guai (as in very good, in the sense I do my tuition hw) and very gay. Then mr Peh was like I don't understand all of you, what do you all mean by gay? To me gay means a man behaving like a woman, budden you all are girls...
Omg Mr Peh is so hilarious :D

So well it was just one big chunk of words and so we don't know who wrote what, unless they tell us of course. Li Sze was pretending to get so worked up because someone called her "Mrs Nadal" but I bet actually she's dancing around happily inside. Btw Li Sze, if you read this, IT WASN'T ME!!!! I SWEAR!!!! Amelia said she got 18 "friendly's" and KZ, Wee Shan, and Amanda all got "artistic"/ "comic lover"/ stuff like that. Lao Chang wrote "you have nice glass eyeballs" for Mohan and Mohan had the cheek to call me "lame, as in very lame"???!?? Grr Mohan, your glass eyeballs need polishing! So, I got about 10 "friendly's", a few "sporty's", ONE OR TWO "intelligent's"?? They think I'm stupid!! Ok kidding. Haha and a lot of "funny's" (couldn't beat Lubna's though!!!) and "cute's" (that I can believe.) and the funniest was "neat and tidy". Ha! When I study at home, it looks like a missile has hit the place. I literally fling my books into every empty space I see.

So that was basically the only really exciting thing that happened today. Oh yeah, I came home, attempted to study (failed) and then went to the gym and succeeded in running for the length of time the treadmill limits users to without collapsing halfway through. Ok I'll get off the PC and tonight I will TRY to study!! I hope it rains in Wimbledon so I won't be tempted to watch the telly.

Dogs

We are getting a dog. Seriously this time, after about 10 years of asking my parents nearly every year if i can get one for my birthday... So, my mom wants something all cute and cuddly like a maltese or shih tzu, while my dad somehow is very into small, short haired dogs. And hunting dogs. Like a basset hound, or beagle. And daschunds which aren't hunting dogs but they look kinda like beagles. However, we told him a hunting dog is completely out of the question because then it'd try to hunt Sarge. To which he said, we could put the puppy with Sarge but that wouldn't work cos Sarge'd try to murder it, and when the puppy grows up it'd try to murder Sarge back, so no hunting dogs!! I want a big dog like a german shephard, a golden or a border collie or a samoyed or a malamute or husky (ok the last two are out of the question) but noooooo our house has to be 'too small' for big dogs like those. But then a lot of people here have big dogs!! (Especially labrador retrievers. There are so many here I get them mixed up. And there is one husky.) But noooo. My dad says they are too big. My mom says they are too big and not cute enough. So I have decided on a... Japanese spitz. (See picture) Or a King Charles,

I dunno yet. We went to a coupla pet shops today, the lady at the first one was really nice and friendly, she was telling us what to do and how to prepare if we wanna get a dog. But her spitzes were expensive so we'll try the pet farms next week.
And the second guy we went to was selling local shih tzus for $1200 and imported ones for $1800! Siiiiaaaooooo ahhhh Li Zz bought Cookie for $600 at a pet farm! Alright more about dogs after next week's trip to the pet farm.
Ugh school is starting TOMORROW and I've been seriously slacking so much this holiday!!! Sucks. I bet everyone in my class has memorized their Bio texts, done their Chem tys 6 times over, and are able to do every single question in the test papers Squack gave us. Unlike.. ME :(

I am into the Jonas Brothers now. They have great songs! Anyway...

Sleepover yesterday was great. Haha. First we met at 11.30 and went to parkway to get our junk food and rent videos. First we went for lunch though, at KFC and that was just the start of our massive marathon pig-out that lasted till this morning. :(
Yuanzo wanted to get a bag but she only brought like what, 15 dollars?! I wanted to strangle her. Seriously. How to get a bag with $15??? So we went to Video Ezy and rented Freaky Friday, Love Actually and the Tale of 2 Sisters (effing worst show EVER but i'll talk about that later.)

We took a cab back and watched Freaky Friday first. They all thought Chad Michael Murray liking Jamie Lee Curtis was really gross!! Haha but I don't think he's all that goodlooking, seriously I can think of many more goodlooking people... It was pretty okay though. Then after that we played cards till dinner. And during dinner we watched this totally lameass Taiwanese show on Channel U. I think these shows are so so so dramatic. Like, when this guy likes this girl and the girl likes him too, he's too shy to tell her straight. And they go to lots of supposedly romantic venues, ie: Carnivals/ movies and yesterday's was this river and they were walking across on stones. It was so terribly painful to watch because everytime the guy would help the girl across one stone she'd bump into him accidentally on purpose and look into his eyes and then this really dramatic tune would play. That happened about 3 times (he helped her across 3 stones) before, predictably, she fell into the river and nearly drowned. And strangely when he finally got her out of the river (cue dramatic music) the river became calm again! Omggggg I DETEST shows like that! Argh!

Then we watched Phua Chu Kang which was a lot more entertaining, went to buy hokkien mee :D and settled down to watch our favourite movie of the day, Love Actually! =D I have tried to watch it thrice already and each time my plans get thwarted, because
1) On the plane, they turned it off before I could finish it. Again.
2) When I bought the dvd from HK, they didn't censor the porn part and my mom walked in as it was showing.
3) I only watched the last half of the show when they showed it on star movies.

So anyway, this vcd didn't have the porn scene (didn't miss it) but we could hardly hear what they were saying. Still the story is so sweet and touching :) I loved the Colin Firth and Aurelia (dunno what her real name is) one, and the Keira Knightley and whatshisname one too! Felicia and Justina were totally obssessing over the little kid, Liam Neeson's son who's in love with the not-very-pretty-and-kinda-fat girl. I think personally that Justina has a better chance. Felicia is too old for him. And Yuanzo was totally stoning with my Seventeen magazine throughout the show! Argh!

So by the time we finished it was about 12, so we watched the tale of two sisters. Seriously. It is THE worst show I have EVER WATCHED. It is so slow moving, it bored us to tears. They hardly talk in the show, and the scenes keep switching so we didn't understand three quarters of the show. It was hardly even scary!!! Half the time the lead actress would slouch around, yell at her stepmom, yell at her dad, cry, scream, drag a sack around, fuss over her weird, dead, younger sister, sit in front of a lake etc etc. So. Stupid. I was so glad when it ended!!
Then we went into the room and played cards somemore till 3. It was so funny cos we kept laughing so hard.. for no reason. Then we hit the hay. I shall go do some SS now.. I've hardly studied this June, how to do O levels!! :(

Yesterday I watched this show directed by Steven Spielberg called Schindler's List. It's about this German feller, who's kinda like a Nazi named Oskar Schindler who saved 1100 Jews during the war, while over 6 million other Jews were murdered by the Nazis. The ending was so touching because when the war ended, and Schindler had to flee and the 1100 Jews were free, they all wrote a letter to explain what Schindler had done if he got caught by the Americans. And he was so sad, and he kept going on about "10 more people he could've saved if he sold his automobile" or "2, or at least one more person" if he had sold his gold badge. What an absolutely top guy.

I also bought a windbreaker from nike, only cos it was half off. 16 years old and no windbreaker?? That's been solved.

If y'all read Sunday Lifestyle a few days back you'd notice an article by this guy (I can't remember his name) saying that women do not understand football and should just leave football and the men watching football alone. Is that the silliest thing ever, or what? I don't claim to be a beer swigging, peanut munching football fanatic who sits glued to the gogglebox for 90 minutes, and however much more extra time is given, waking up half the neighbourhood when Peter Crouch scores a goal and does his robot dance. I may not paint myself yellow and green and buy football jerseys by bulk so I can distribute them to my fellow Brazil supporters. But one thing for sure: I can understand football. What is there not to understand anyway? I'm sure not all men think that women don't understand football. Okay maybe some do; but then, are they against women trying to understand football? I doubt so.

I mean, I watch football with my dad. (Forget about my mom, her msn nickname now is FIFA Hater, she says when the Wimbledon starts it'll be Anti-Wimbledon) He doesn't have anything against me watching football! So this guy, writing the article in Lifestyle, he also said that the main reason why women watch football is to ogle at cute men. Eh, is Roberto Carlos goodlooking? Ronaldo is fat, Oliver Kahn looks like a bulldog, and Peter Crouch looks like one of those Stikfas toys. Don't tell me no guy has ever come across Maria Sharapova playing Wimbledon and gone, Whoa, hot legs, and continued watching despite the fact that they don't know what an ace is? Like, c'mon. Isn't this a free country?

Men who think that women don't understand football and for the love of the game, should stop watching and supporting completely, are such male chauvinist pigs!! Okay I admit, some of my friends who have previously never mentioned, in all my less than four years of knowing them (cos the last World Cup was 4 years ago), their interest in football and now are simply jumping on the bandwagon and are totally into staying up late just to watch Brazil vs Australia or betting that Switzerland'd win Togo (They DID! :D :D Btw, I am a fan of Switzerland, not Swiss football.) But so? There are so many others who do follow football and watch Man U or Chelsea or Kaiserslautern or Bayern Munich or whatever football clubs there are. I don't know cos I don't follow them but whoever said I'm a diehard footie fan anyway.

So if football is a men's sport and women shouldn't watch it... then men shouldn't be ogling at Sharapova (who would want to though) or Hantuchova (at least she's prettier.) playing tennis, right?
Wrong. That's why there is absolutely nothing wrong with women watching football. Of course, those who pretend to know a lot but actually know nothing are plain annoying... But that's beside the point.

Oh and something else that totally pisses me off is when people say, football is so dumb it's just 20 people chasing a ball around a field. That is like the most overused phrase to discriminate football. Ever. Then can't I also say, tennis is so stupid. It's just a couple of people with oversized pingpong bats hitting a hairy green ball to each other. Or, bowling is so lame all they do is roll a big stupid heavy ball and try to knock down a bunch of pins.
I can't say that. Isn't skill and technique also involved in all of that? Football is NOT stupid, and neither is tennis or bowling. So it's just plain rude to say something like that about a sport other people love.

That's about it. I'll go eat my roasted garlic and permesan biscuits now.

EVERYONE should read Dmitry Tursonov's blog, I linked it on the left. It is so so so so funny. Haha. He goes on about rapping (??), how Marat Safin gets more attention than he does, and his lack of emails. I like him. Funny man.

I apologized, and then we talked strategy for our next match and it was so great to really have a good heart-to-heart talk without all the girls running over and handing phone numbers to me and asking me to pass it to Marat! Towards the end of the breakfast we really bonded and I felt like we became a REAL doubles team. I braided his hair and he talked about this cute bag he bought at Louis Vuitton store! Unfortunately he had to leave soon for a warm-up so I hugged him good bye and wished him luck! He is soooo cute when he pouts!!!

Second hit is with Lukas Dlouhy. If you can pronounce his name it means one thing. You are Czech!!! His last name won’t save him this time though because I’m ready to practice!!! We warm up and start playing points. He is very cunning player because he likes to drop shot! The first time he drop shots I get there and my foot digs in instead of sliding so naturally instead of hitting the ball I decide to wipe off the court with my back. Hmmmm…. Okay… Now I have clay all over me, half a pound of it in my underwear, and I lost the point on top of it!!! I will not chase those stupid drop shots next time!!!
Two points later I fall down again! This time on my butt! A girl on the next court is really enjoying this!!! So does the kid besides the fence! “Mommy, Look!!! It’s a clown!!!” At least this time I win the point! Who cares, though?! I got a full pound of clay in my shorts now!!! What am I supposed to do with it?!?! Besides the occasional “scooping” of clay, the practice is pretty good! We hit for an hour and I feel a little more comfortable although there is a really long way before I feel at home on this surface. I think the only natural habitat for this surface is on Mars so they should change Roland Garros to hard courts and make a clay tournament on Mars!

And if you want to know what Rafael Nadal eats... go to his blog, it's all he ever talks about. But we can excuse that. Because he's cute of course.... (:

I am supposed to be doing my work now but I like looking at new entries on my new blog so I am typing a new one now. :) One of the totally cool things about blogger is... that you can upload photos with no hassle at all! :D

So anyways it's just a week left until school reopens, which leaves me with 2 months and one week till prelims and I'm STRESSED! But I'm not doing anything about it which is much, much worse. Groan. Oh yesterday, we went to Kino cos my cousin is the manager of the coffee club so the parents obviously wanted to take advantage of that to get a free meal.. kidding kidding. But it was free anyway though my mom wanted to pay. The literature section of Kino is like what, 8 walls long?? And after about 15 minutes of browsing the parents wanted to go off! Argh! And I thought I'd be able to browse through the entire Literature section but noooo... I bought Sophie's World though. It makes sense. And it's full of questions that I frequently ask... like, how is the world created? Of course, people will say God. Which God depends on what religion you are I suppose. But then... who created God? And there is a scientific way of approaching so many things. Why isn't there a scientific approach on the creation of the world? Or the universe for that matter? All that shit about the Big Bang... how can there be just nothing at first, then kablam. Nine++ planets materialize. That is total bulldust I think and so is the antimatter shit in Angels and Demons. If Dan brown were right about that he'd be a top scientist instead of the author of the most controversial book of the century, which doesn't even get half its facts right, if you read the papers.

Soooo if y'all frequently ask yourselves questions like these, then I suggest y'all buy Sophie's World. If you've ceased to question your existance then I'm sorry for you. Alright now I shall go do my work. Bye.

Okay I'm totally kidding. Omg I love that commercial, the Visa one, with Richard Gere innit. And the spoof from mrbrown.com is even funnier!! Omg! No more bird! Damn your grey hair! Hee hee hee hee hee hee

And and and I am totally in love with Aquamarine. Haha. Cos like I watched it on the way to Bangkok and the silly air hostesses took away my headset before the movie ended and I had to watch the rest of the show reading the Chinese subtitles which weren't even in simplified Chinese. And before the show could finish.. kabloop. They turned off krisworld. :( And they did the same thing on the way back but at least I finished more of it this time. And I love One Original Thing by Cheyenne Kimball now, look i KNOW I am gonna get laughed at for being so outdated but eh! I bought my crumpler bag way last year and NOW the Big Crumpler Craze is on so this time it's y'all who are outdated. (Which is why I hardly use it now cos everyone has it and it pisses me off like hell.)
